Committed to a sustainable future in Isla Chiquita

On March 28th, we signed an agreement with FECOP, an important step towards cooperation for sustainable and equitable development in our region. Together, we will work to generate a positive impact on the communities of the Gulf of Nicoya through responsible tourism activities and projects that promote sustainability.

Key objectives of this collaboration include:

• Support for sustainable tourism activities in the Gulf of Nicoya.
• Training in best practices for captains and sailors in tourist and sport fishing.
• Sport fishing workshops for children from the Gulf communities.

At Isla Chiquita, we are committed to offer our facilities and resources to make these projects a reality. Together, with the collaboration of local leaders, we will continue to work for the well-being of the community and the future of our planet.
